- Telling about our stocked ponds won’t work. You’ll only think we’re telling a big fish story!
- A private hiking trail resembles many of the trails at nearby parks. See the tulip poplars in bloom!
- The only oil well derrick in Hocking County sits on our farm. The sunsets are beautiful, a sure photo contest winner.
- The cabins are located literally in ‘"in the sticks", one quarter mile from the nearest public road. You might hear your cabin neighbors, but you can’t see their cabin.
- Sit on the deck and the watch the plentiful wildlife. We have done our best to not disturb nature in erecting the cabins where you stay. We are proud to consider ourselves an Eco-lodge.
- Enjoy the many flowers, natural and wildlife. Deer, turkey, and a variety of birds are abundant. We have even seen an albino deer, a bobcat and coyotes.
- The staff of Best Nest will do whatever possible to make your visit a joyous memorable experience. We will arrange to have special dinners or picnics ready, even upon your arrival
- Our family owned cattle and horses might come to visit. Because we have pets, we ask that you not bring yours.
- Smoking is allowed only on cabin porches.
